With the 2023 NBA regular season coming to an end in the next week or so, attention will turn to the NBA Playoffs and the upcoming NBA Draft Lottery.
Teams still in contention for the title will aim for a deep playoff run, while teams that have struggled or are rebuilding will be hoping things go their way in the draw on May 16.
The Victor Vembanyama lottery has been going on for quite some time, with teams scrambling to acquire the draft for a chance to land the versatile superstar.

That’s a pretty telling statement in terms of how NBA executives feel about the potential impact the international superstar will have once he officially enters the league.
The consensus seems to be that Vembanyama is the real deal and will immediately become a franchise player for an NBA team.
Players have been hyped like this before and failed miserably to live up to expectations.
There’s always a chance that could happen to Vembanyama, but at the moment teams seem to be drooling over the prospect of prying the 19-year-old away from France.
It will be interesting to see which team takes the lead in the lottery next month and if other teams will be in the running for the No. 1 overall pick ahead of the June 22 draft.
