Wally doesn’t look like any ordinary dog, he has had a rough life, and he is just looking for a family to spend his last years with. All shelter dogs are currently waiting to be adopted, but some, unfortunately, wind up waiting longer than others.
But there’s still hope: Wally is still up for adoption and is still searching for a fantastic home.
Let’s help Wally get adopted! Spread the word by sharing this story!
Wally was first brought to the shelter; he was stray and already nearly ten years old. He had some health issues, including a skin infection and blindness in one eye, according to The Dodo. This all gave poor Wally an appearance that the shelter worried would turn potential adopters away.
He loves to slobber on you and will do anything for some food”
He also likes to just hang out and not do anything
veterinary technician Danielle Gorle told The Dodo.
Sadly, visitors to the shelter have so far failed to see the beauty beneath. Wally has been waiting to discover a new home with no takers. And the protector says that the rejection is taking a toll on his health.
However, he was able to have a wonderful personality and became a favorite of the shelter workers.
He seems to be declining.
He was happier when he first came in. He likes it when he gets to go out, but he seems depressed in his kennel.
these dogs deserve love, too. Like this fantastic boy who is just waiting for someone to love him for who he is.
He isn’t good with other animals and needs to be the only pet, but otherwise, he seems like a perfect dog for anyone: The shelter says he’s neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, good with people and loves treats.
He is a little mush and volunteer favorite.
The sad truth is that oftentimes, individuals decide on their pet based on appearance and frequently choose the cutest puppy available, missing some of the more unconventional-looking dogs.
