Kate Davidson Featured in Bloomberg News as head of the Federal Reserve System.

He joined Bloomberg in late 2022 as the US economy editor. He used to be at Politico.

Prior to that, he spent nearly seven years at The The Wall Street Journal, where he covered the Biden administration’s economic agenda, the Treasury Department and US fiscal policy. He previously covered the Federal Reserve, breaking numerous stories about the central bank’s independence and accountability. He has also written extensively on the broader economy, including key trends of concern Washington on jobs, growth and inflation.

Before joining the Journal, Davidson was at Politico, covering all aspects of financial regulation, including the launch of the CFPB and the implementation of the Dodd-Frank Act.

He used to work American Banker and CQ-Roll Call. Before moving to Washington, D.C., Davidson covered politics and business at the Concord Monitor and education at the New Hampshire Union Leader.
