Description

A delicious and healthy twist on traditional tacos, this crustless taco pie is perfect for keto, low-carb, and gluten-free diets. Quick to prepare and full of flavor, it’s a family favorite!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey/chicken)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or coconut milk)
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade blend)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or pepper jack)
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, salsa, diced tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch pie pan.
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked, about 10 minutes, then drain excess grease.
  3. Add taco seasoning to the meat and mix well, then spoon it into the greased pie pan.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream, then pour the mixture over the meat.
  5. Top with shredded cheese and bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes until set and golden brown.
  6. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with optional toppings as desired.
