Description

Creamy Steak Pasta is a delicious dish that combines tender steak with rich, creamy sauce and pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine, penne, or your choice)
  • 1 lb sirloin steak (or ribeye, sliced into thin strips)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil.
  2. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a little pasta water.
  3. Season the sliced steak with salt and pepper.
  4. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak strips and sear for about 3–4 minutes, or until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and beef broth, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
  7. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Allow the sauce to simmer for about 3–5 minutes, or until it thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Return the cooked pasta and seared steak to the skillet, tossing to coat them in the creamy sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.
  9. Serve the creamy steak pasta immediately, garnished with fresh chopped parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
