Description

A classic Italian spaghetti carbonara recipe made with creamy sauce, pancetta, and parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 400g spaghetti
  • 150g pancetta
  • 100g parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a large pot and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions.
  2. Fry the pancetta in a pan until crispy.
  3. Beat the eggs in a bowl and mix in the grated parmesan.
  4. Add garlic to the pan and sauté briefly.
  5. Drain the spaghetti and reserve some pasta water.
  6. Combine spaghetti with pancetta and garlic, remove from heat.
  7. Mix in the egg and cheese mixture quickly.
  8. Adjust the consistency with reserved pasta water and season with salt and pepper.

Notes

Serve immediately for best flavor. Optionally, garnish with additional parmesan.
