Description
A rich and flavorful dish featuring tender chicken thighs in a creamy garlic sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs (or boneless, skinless)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken thighs, skin side down, and cook for about 6–7 minutes until the skin is golden brown and crispy.
- Flip the thighs and cook for another 5–6 minutes until browned on the other side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir to combine.
- Add the Italian seasoning, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Place the chicken thighs back into the skillet, skin side up. Allow the sauce to simmer for about 10–15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened slightly.
- If using, stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.
- Serve the chicken thighs with the creamy garlic sauce spooned over the top. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
- Enjoy your Creamy Garlic Chicken Thighs with your favorite side.
