Description

Cream Cheese and Bacon Green Bean Casserole is a creamy side dish perfect for holiday meals.


Ingredients

  • 15 Ritz crackers
  • 1 cup French’s fried onions
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 tbsp real bacon bits
  • 3 cups milk
  • 2 oz Lipton Onion Soup & Dip Mix
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 5 cups chopped frozen green beans
  • 1/2 cup real bacon bits
  • 1 cup French’s fried onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Pour milk into large saucepan.
  3. Add onion soup mix to milk and stir well. Bring to a boil.
  4. Add cream cheese and reduce heat to medium. Stir until melted.
  5. Add frozen green beans and stir until coated.
  6. Add 1/2 cup bacon bits and 1 cup fried onions. Stir well and reduce heat to low.
  7. Crush Ritz crackers in a Ziploc bag.
  8. In a bowl, combine crushed Ritz crackers, 1 cup fried onions, and melted butter.
  9. Mix well and set aside.
  10. Dump green bean mixture into a greased 9-inch baking dish.
  11. Spread topping mixture over green beans and sprinkle bacon bits on top.
  12. Bake until topping is just starting to brown, about 14-16 minutes.
  13. Allow to sit for a few minutes before serving.
