Description

Classic pigs in a blanket made with crescent roll dough wrapped around mini cocktail wieners, brushed with melted butter and sprinkled with coarse salt for a golden, savory appetizer.


Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour, for surface
  • 1 tube crescent rolls
  • 1 package mini cocktail wieners
  • 4 tbsp. melted unsalted butter
  • Coarse salt, to taste
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tbsp. lime juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375ºF.
  2. Lightly flour a clean surface, unroll crescent roll dough, and cut each triangle into three smaller triangles.
  3. Place one mini cocktail wiener along the thick edge of each small triangle and roll towards the thinner edge.
  4. Arrange the wrapped wieners on a baking sheet. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with coarse salt.
  5. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until golden brown.
  6. Whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, and lime juice in a small bowl for dipping sauce.
