Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Pour into dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Spread batter evenly into the prepared pan. Sprinkle with nuts or raisins if using.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10-15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- While bars cool, mix powdered sugar and milk for icing. Drizzle over cooled bars.
