Description

Chocolate Dipped Oreos transform classic cookies into festive treats coated in rich chocolate and decorated with white chocolate snow and evergreen sprinkles.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of chocolate sandwich cookies (approximately 26 cookies)
  • 23 cups dark or milk melting chocolate
  • 1 cup white melting chocolate
  • Evergreen tree sprinkles
  • Star sprinkles
  • Gold sparkle sugar

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with wax paper for setting cookies.
  2. Melt 2-3 cups of dark or milk chocolate in a heatproof bowl.
  3. Submerge each cookie in the melted chocolate and tap to remove excess.
  4. Place coated cookies on the baking sheet and refrigerate for 5-10 minutes.
  5. Continue coating remaining cookies, reheating chocolate if needed.
  6. Line another baking sheet with wax paper and melt 1 cup of white chocolate.
  7. Dip the bottom and/or sides of each cookie into the white chocolate.
  8. Add evergreen sprinkles while the white chocolate is wet.
  9. Use a toothpick to attach star sprinkles to each tree.
  10. Refrigerate decorated cookies for a few minutes until firm.
  11. Add snowy accents with a toothpick dipped in white chocolate.
  12. Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
