A simple recipe for delicious chocolate covered strawberries.
Ingredients

- 1 lb fresh strawberries (preferably large and ripe)
- 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate (or dark chocolate, chopped)
- 4 oz white chocolate (optional, for drizzling)
- Sprinkles or chopped nuts (optional, for decoration)
Instructions
- Gently wash the strawberries under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Make sure they are completely dry.
- Place the semi-sweet chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.
- Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate, letting the excess drip off.
- Place the dipped strawberries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- If using white chocolate, melt it the same way as the semi-sweet chocolate.
- Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the chocolate-covered strawberries using a fork or piping bag.
- Refrigerate the strawberries for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is set.
- Remove from the refrigerator and serve immediately. Enjoy!
