Real Madrid face another English side in the UCL draw after beating Liverpool in the last 16 of the competition. The Spanish team will meet “Chelsea”, which overcame “Borussia” Dortmund and reached the quarter-finals. Real Madrid and Chelsea have faced each other in the competition in each of the last two seasons, with the English side progressing in 2020-21 and the Spanish side doing the same in 2021-22.
On the same side of the UCL draw, English champions Manchester City and their manager Pep Guardiola will face his former club and German champions Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals. “Manchester City” defeated German “RB Leipzig” and “Bayern Munich” defeated PSG in the 1/8 finals. The winner of the tie will face the winner of Chelsea-Real Madrid.
Super Eagles star Victor Osihen will lead the line for Napoli when they take on Italian rivals AC Milan in their first ever UEFA Champions League quarter-final. The Serie A leaders defeated Eintracht Frankfurt in the last 16, while AC Milan defeated Tottenham Hotspur.
After defeating Porto, Inter Milan will now face Portugal’s Benfica in the semi-finals of the Champions League. Benfica beat Club Brugge in two games to reach the last eight of the tournament.
