Description

Caesar Salad Recipe TL;DR


Ingredients

1 head romaine lettuce (~350g), chopped into bite-sized pieces

1/2 cup caesar dressing

1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese (~50g)

1/4 teaspoon black pepper, freshly cracked

3 cups cubed bread (~150g)

2 tablespoons olive oil (30ml)

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon Diamond Crystal kosher salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375Β°F. Cut bread into cubes and toss with olive oil, garlic powder, and salt. Spread on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes until golden and crispy, stirring halfway through.
  2. Wash and chop the romaine lettuce and place in a large bowl.
  3. Add the Caesar dressing and toss to coat the lettuce evenly.
  4. Top with shredded parmesan cheese, homemade croutons, and black pepper.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
Can be frozen for up to 3 months.
Reheat gently on stovetop for best results.
