Ingredients

  • 1 jar Onion Relish (adds sweet and savory punch)
  • 8 oz Brie (ensures a melt-in-your-mouth experience)
  • 1 large Egg (for brushing the pastries)

Instructions

  1. Thaw the puff pastry by placing it on the kitchen counter for about 30 minutes until soft. Sprinkle some flour onto a clean, flat surface and roll out the pastry gently.
  2. Cut little circles from the rolled-out pastry using a round cookie cutter or glass. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
  3. Chop the brie cheese into small pieces and set it aside.
  4. Spread approximately 1 teaspoon of onion relish onto each circle of puff pastry.
  5. Top each filled circle with some of the chopped brie cheese.
  6. Cover with another layer of puff pastry circles, then use a fork to crimp the edges together.
  7. Arrange the assembled puffs on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops gently with a beaten egg.
