During a week of fighting for the city, Dwarf’s company encountered conscripted prisoners from the Russian Wagner group. “We had battles every two hours,” he says. “I’m guessing one company fired 50 people a day.” In case of doubt, he states that these numbers were confirmed by aerial reconnaissance. “The [Russian vehicle] comes, 50 bodies come out, the day passes, 50 bodies come out again,” he says, and his company lost a part of that number, he says.
