- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 diced onion
- 1/2 lb crumbled bacon
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1 can cheddar cheese soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 cups elbow macaroni
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, boil water and cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, cook ground beef and diced onion over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cooked pasta, beef mixture, crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese soup, and milk.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Serve warm, topping with pickles, mustard, and ketchup if desired.
Notes
For a spicier version, add jalapeños or sriracha. This dish can be refrigerated pre-bake for up to a day for easy meal prep.
