Description

This hearty Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole combines creamy cheese, savory bacon, and comforting pasta, all baked to perfection in just 30 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 diced onion
  • 1/2 lb crumbled bacon
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1 can cheddar cheese soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 cups elbow macaroni
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot, boil water and cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, cook ground beef and diced onion over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked pasta, beef mixture, crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese soup, and milk.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Serve warm, topping with pickles, mustard, and ketchup if desired.

Notes

For a spicier version, add jalapeños or sriracha. This dish can be refrigerated pre-bake for up to a day for easy meal prep.
